John Lustgarten is the Chief Investment Officer of Summit and President of Snowmass Capital, a real estate investment and advisory firm. He has participated in over $11 billion of real estate and corporate finance transactions as both an investor and a lender. In his previous role as Director at Lowe Enterprises Investors, an investment manager with over $3 billion under management, he invested institutional, discretionary private equity funds in hospitality and multifamily assets. Prior positions include serving as Director of North American Debt at GE Capital; Finance Director at CIM Group; and Manager in RBC Capital Markets’ Leveraged Finance Group, where he provided debt for leveraged buyouts in various industries. Mr. Lustgarten obtained his B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
