Michael Thom

Michael C. Thom is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Summit. Mr. Thom has worked in various leadership roles in commercial real estate for nearly 22 years as an asset manager, investment analyst, broker, property manager, and investment syndicator. Prior to the formation of Summit, Mr. Thom was the President of Thom & Company, a boutique firm that specialized in acquisition and syndication of multi-family and retail investments. For a ten-year period prior to the formation of Thom & Company, Mr. Thom served as President and Vice President of The Group Companies, a diversified commercial real estate company located in Beverly Hills, California. He oversaw and participated in over $350 million of acquisitions, syndications and brokerage of multi-family assets, as well as the management of multifamily assets in California, Arizona and Tennessee. Mr. Thom graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance.
